Quackgrass infestation
Originally found in the Mediterranean area, quackgrass infests crops, rangeland, pasture, and lawns. It adapts well to moist soils in cool temperate climates. It reproduces by seed and rhizomes. These rhizomes can penetrate hardened soils and even roots of other plants.
