Conference Registration
Refund Policy
Refunds are not available online. If a refund is required, please contact Lori Fajardo at 435-797-2255. A check will be written out and mailed to the party who made the original purchase. Please allow 3-4 weeks to process refund requests.
Photo Contest
We are excited to announce that the annual UWCA photo contest will continue! We would like to invite you to submit your best noxious weed photos for a chance to win prizes and recognition. There will be 3 categories for the second annual UWCA contest.
- Meeting the Challenge
- (Show us your biggest challenges, worst weeds, or ways that you have overcome these challenges with innovation and partnerships.)
- Most Beautiful Weed Photo
- (We enjoyed seeing your most beautiful pictures last year and we want to see more!)
- Before and After Pictures
- (We have added this category for 2026. Please submit TWO photos, a before and an after photo of your challenges and how you successfully overcame them. We will be looking for the most impactful story told in two photos.)
Photo Contest Rules:
- Contest is open to UWCA members who are attending the 2026 UWCA Conference.
- Each participant can only submit one photo per category (2 Two photos in the before and after category).
- For the “Meeting the Challenge” and “Before and After”categories, we will request 100 words or less to describe your biggest challenge or how your photo shows you meeting a challenge.
- Photos should not include identifiable people.
- By submitting your photos, you are providing permission for UWCA to display your photos at the 2026 UWCA conference and UWCA website.
We will be making a few changes this year:
- The names will be removed from all photo submissions during voting.
- Photos will be submitted using a Google form that can be found on the UWCA website later this year.
Conference Keynote Speakers
Jaycie Arndt
Interim Director of IMAGINE and Coordinator of NEWIGWG
Jaycie conducts rangeland and weed science research, develops educational materials, organizes the IMAGINE Monitoring Network, and facilitates annual grass workshops.
Chloe Mattilio
IMAGINE GIS specialist
Chloe develops predictive models for invasive annual grasses at landscape scales for management partners across Wyoming. Using IMAGINE monitoring network observations to train frequently collected satellite imagery, she aims to capture the spectral signature of invasive annual grasses for accurate detection to inform management decisions.
Presentation Highlights
Lessons learned from invasive annual grass management and a programmatic update on IMAGINE. This will encompass the use of:
- remote sensing
- prioritization
- treatment recommendations
